I have had a fascination with nature for as long as I can remember, and in more recent years, nature photography and sharing my images with others has become my passion.

 

I've always had an appreciation for art, and in particular, impressionism.  Perhaps inspired by visits to Monet's gardens in Giverny, I began photographing a local pond of lily pads with reflections of fall foliage. Due to sunlight the colors change throughout the day, giving an impressionistic quality to the scene.

 

These days I rarely leave the house without my camera. Nature is unpredictable...
