Lily Pads and Reflections

One fall while visiting lily pad ponds at various times of day, I was struck by how the reflections of the fall foliage onto the water changed dramatically depending on the sunlight. Not only did the pond color change, but also the lily pads themselves took on new hues depending on the amount of sunlight. While not as dramatic, the reflections onto ponds during summer and spring also alter depending on time of day, the amount of sunlight and the foliages nearby.
